Visual Treats

Here are a few tasty visual treats…

If you’re wondering, you’re looking at raw PiM footage.

While we’re editing, we’ll try to put up something new every few days.

HUD inspiration

One of the effects we’re experimenting with to communicate the first hand experience of creative movement is the HUD effect.

If you’re wondering, HUD stands for

  • Heads
  • Up
  • Display

We took notes from Iron Man 2 and the amazing work by The Front and The Orphanage on the HUD effect.

Data Visualization Inspiration

Our film uses data visualization to help convey the scale of our athletes creative movement. Here are some examples:

Inspiration came from MK12 studios and their work on the film Stranger than Fiction

You can find more of our favorite movie data visualizations here.

Theme song from People in Motion

This beautiful piece by Alexander Bornstein is the theme for the film. Hope y’all enjoy it as much as we do!

Why Paul does what he does…

Where can I get it?
